The Ministry of Finance (MOF) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) signed a loan agreement for the environmentally sustainable rural vitalization and development project in Northwest China's Gansu province on December 2, 2022.

 

The loan totals 146.199 million euros with a term of 25 years, including a grace period of six years.

 

The project aims to strengthen institutional capacity for green governance and private sector engagement, promote sustainable and climate-resilient agricultural development measures and practices, and support low-carbon rural development. It will demonstrate climate-resilient and sustanable rural economic diversification and mitigation of climate change in Gansu province.
