The 63rd meeting of the Global Environment Facility (GEF) Council was held virtually from November 28 to December 2, 2022.

 

The meeting mainly approved the new work program and reviewed the GEF monitoring report 2022, the report on lead agency selection process for Integrated Programs, the relations with conventions and other international institutions, and the report of the Selection and Review Committee.

 

The Selection and Review Committee meeting was held on November 29 and 30.

 

Li Hongxia, Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Economic and Financial Cooperation of China's Ministry of Finance, attended the meeting and delivered a speech as the GEF Council member for China and a Selection and Review Committee member.
