Lan Fo’an, China’s Minister of Finance, met with Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), in Beijing on Dec 9, 2024. 

The two sides discussed Chinese and global economic situations, China’s key fiscal policies, debt issues faced by developing countries and other topics. China’s Vice Minister of Finance Liao Min also attended the meeting.
