China’s Minister of Finance Lan Fo’an met with Ajay Banga, President of the World Bank Group, on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Nov 19, 2024.

The two sides discussed issues including the World Bank Group Evolution and the 21st replenishment of the International Development Association, as well as knowledge and personnel cooperation between China and the World Bank Group.
