Lan Fo'an, China's Minister of Finance, held a video meeting with Fernando Haddad, Brazilian Minister of Finance, on Aug 27, 2024.

The two sides exchanged views on topics such as promoting the alignment of the Belt and Road Initiative with Brazil's relevant strategies, bilateral investment and financial cooperation.

Liao Min, China's Vice Minister of Finance and Dilma Rousseff, President of the New Development Bank, also attended the meeting.
