Wang Dongwei, Vice Minister of Finance of China, attended the eighth Annual Meeting of the New Development Bank (NDB) Board of Governors and the closed session of the NDB Board of Governors in Shanghai on May 30, 2023.

The attendees were briefed on the implementation of the NDB's General Strategy 2022-2026 and its admission of new members. The chairperson and vice-chairperson of the ninth Annual Meeting of Board of Governors of the NDB were elected. The venue and time of the ninth Annual Meeting of the NDB Board of Governors were also decided.

On the sidelines of the annual meeting, Wang also attended the Flagship NDB Governor Seminar on Innovation Driving Global Development and the Host Country Dinner.
