The ninth donors meeting on the financial intermediary fund (FIF) for pandemic prevention, preparedness and response (PPR) was held virtually on September 5, 2022.
Cheng Zhijun, Director General of the Department of International Economic and Financial Cooperation of China's Ministry of Finance (MOF), attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
The attendees reached a consensus on issues related to the FIF's governance framework and operational manual, and they decided to hold the first meeting of the FIF's Governing Board from September 8 to 9. China has successfully obtained the seat as a single-donor constituency on the Governing Board.
