The Ministry of Finance (MOF) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) signed a loan agreement for a project on strengthening public health institutions building on December 23, 2022.

 

The loan totals 300.993 million euros with a term of 25 years, including a grace period of five years.

 

With the aim of improving the quality of public health services, the project supports Shaanxi and Guizhou provinces and Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region to enhance the public health institutional capacity,establish guidelines and standards that are of international standard for the advancement of disease control, and establish an antimicrobial resistance surveillance system and high-quality laboratories with effective bio-security measures.
