MOF holds workshop on anti-corruption policies and practices of multilateral development banks

The Department of International Economic and Financial Cooperation of the Ministry of Finance (MOF) held a workshop and invited Hamid Sharif, Managing Director of the Complaints-resolution, Evaluation and Integrity Unit of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), to deliver a lecture on the anti-corruption policies and practices of multilateral development banks, via video link, on December 1, 2022. 
 
At the lecture, Mr. Sharif introduced the anti-corruption policies of multilateral development banks (MDBs), shared practical anti-corruption cases of relevant institutions, and offered suggestions on further improving the anti-corruption policy system of MDBs and strengthening international anti-corruption cooperation between China and the AIIB. 
 
Cheng Zhijun, Director General of the Department of International Economic and Financial Cooperation of the MOF, chaired the workshop. 
 
Staff members from the MOF's Bureau of Supervision and Evaluation, Department of International Economic Relations, Department of International Economic and Financial Cooperation, and International Economics and Finance Institute, attended the lecture online or on-site and exchanged views with the AIIB colleagues.
