ADB holds anti-corruption policy training for Executing and Implmenting Agencies and Project Management Units of ADB financed Projects in China

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) held an online training session on May 20 on anti-corruption policies for Executing Agencies (EAs) Implementing Agencies (IAs) and Project Management Units (PMUs) from 69 ADB-financed projects in China, aiming to help enhance their anti-corruption awareness and capacity.
Lu Jin, Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Economic and Financial Cooperation of China's Ministry of Finance, attended the meeting and delivered opening remarks. Teresa Kho, Director-General of ADB's East Asia Department, John Versantvoort, Head of ADB's Office of Anti-corruption and Integrity, and Risa Zhijia Teng, Director-General of ADB's Procurement, Portfolio and Financial Management Department attended the meeting and gave speeches.
ADB officials expounded on the Bank's policies with case analysis concerning anti-corruption, bidding and procurement, as well as financial management, and interacted with the attendees during the Q&A session.
Over 700 representatives of nearly 500 relevant institutions, from 17 provinces such as Henan, Heilongjiang, and Qinghai, including financial departments at the provincial, prefectural and county levels, EAs,IAs and PMUs, took part in the training session, which was well received by the attendees, and yielded good results.
