Cheng Zhijun, Deputy Director-General (Acting DG)of the Department of International Economic and Financial Cooperation of the Ministry of Finance, attended an online flagship seminar themed “Connected Infrastructure: Transformations and Trends” in his capacity as Temporary Alternate Governor for China at Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) on October 27, 2021. The seminar was a side event during the Sixth Annual Meeting of AIIB’s Board of Governors. Delegates from governments and private sectors of developing countries exchanged their views on infrastructure development and investment trends in Asia, shared their experiences in infrastructure digitalization, and provided suggestions on AIIB’s role in promoting infrastructure transformation.
