The Governing Committee Meeting of the Multilateral Cooperation Center for Development Finance (MCDF) was held at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) Tianjin Office on July 14, 2021.  

　　Representatives from MCDF Finance Facility donor governments, MCDF Secretariat and international organizations, such as the AIIB, participated in the meeting online and offline. 

　　At the meeting, MCDF Governing Committ ee reviewed and approved the Operations Manual of the MCDF Finance Facility and accrediting AIIB as the first Implementing Partner of the MCDF Finance Facility. 

　　Cheng Zhijun, Deputy Director-General (Acting DG) of the Department of International Economic and Financial Cooperation of the Ministry of Finance (MOF), attended and presided over the meeting as the Chair of the MCDF Governing Committee on behalf of the Chinese side in Beijing via video link. He also participated in and spoke at the 12th MCDF Coordination Committee Meeting. 

　　Han Bin, Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Economic and Financial Cooperation of MOF, paid a visit to AIIB Tianjin Office to attend the Governing Committee Meeting as the Alternate Member for China.
