The ASEAN + 3 Finance and Central Bank Deputies’ Meeting, co-chaired by the Republic of Korea (ROK) and Brunei, was held via video link on March 25, 2021. The meeting mainly discussed the regional economic and financial situation, the Chiang Mai Initiative Multilateralization (CMIM), the ASEAN+3 Future Cooperation Initiative, the ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO) and other topics. Yang Yingming, Director General of the International Economic Relations Department attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Prior to the aforementioned meeting, Yang also attended the China-Japan-ROK Finance and Central Bank Deputies’ Meeting via video link.
