Yang Ruijin, Director of the Bureau of Supervision and Evaluation of the Ministry of Finance, and Ho Silvestre In Mui, Director of the Financial Services Bureau and President of the Professional Committee of Accountants of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR), signed a memorandum of understanding on audit regulatory cooperation in the Macao SAR on Aug 27.

Under the cooperation framework established by the memorandum, the two sides will continue to deepen cooperation on audit regulation, improve and refine cooperation mechanisms, strengthen the exchange and sharing of regulatory information, and carry out practical law enforcement cooperation, to promote standardized practice and sound development of the certified public accountant profession in the Chinese mainland and Macao.
