Lan Fo’an, China’s Minister of Finance, met with Kenyan Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury and Economic Planning, John Ngongo, in Beijing on April 2, 2025. The two sides exchanged views on macro economic situations and policies of both countries, as well as bilateral investment and financing cooperation.

Chen Huaiyu, Chairman of the Export-Import Bank of China, Christopher Kiptoo, Kenyan Principal Secretary of the National Treasury, and Willy Bett, Kenyan Ambassador to China, also attended the meeting.
