The Ministry of Finance (MOF) issued 10 billion yuan of RMB-denominated treasury bonds to professional investors in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region via tendering on Dec 12, 2023.

  The issuance received active subscriptions from professional investors, with their total subscription amount reaching 3.51 times of the issuance amount.

  The 10 billion yuan treasury bond issuance included the 2-year tranche (additional issuance) of 3 billion yuan with an issuance price of 99.42 yuan, equivalent to a yield of 2.60 percent; the 3-year tranche (additional issuance) of 3 billion yuan with an issuance price of 99.23 yuan, equivalent to a yield of 2.62 percent; and the 5-year tranche (additional issuance) of 4 billion yuan with an issuance price of 99.00 yuan, equivalent to a yield of 2.75 percent.
