Lan Fo'an, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Ministry of Finance of China, met with Sri Lankan President and Finance Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe in Beijing on Oct 19, at the invitation of the latter.
The two sides exchanged views mainly on issues related to the treatment of Sri Lanka’s sovereign debt.
Liao Min, Vice Minister of Finance of China, Zhao Huan, Chairman of China Development Bank, and Wu Fulin, Chairman of Export-Import Bank of China also attended the meeting.
