Minister Liu Kun attended the 99th meeting of the World Bank/IMF Development Committee held in Washington from April 12 to 13, 2019.  

Liu delivered a speech at the ministerial luncheon while Vice Minister Zou Jiayi spoke at the ministerial meeting. 

On the sidelines of the meeting, Liu also met with David Malpass, the newly-elected President of the World Bank, to discuss cooperation between China and the Bank.
